Nigerian celebrity blogger, Uche Pedro has won the award for Favourite African Blogger at the 2016 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards (KCAs).
Pedro, the founder of BellaNaija blog, was declared winner at the Awards ceremony held on Sunday in Los Angeles.
The KCAs is known to be an annual awards show hosted by the Nickelodeon cable channel.
The awards is to honour the biggest and most popular television shows, movies, music, books and blogs that are popular among youths and Nickelodeon viewers.
The nominees for the 2016 KCAs category for Favourite African Blogger included Aisha Baker from South Africa, Silvia Njoki from Kenya, Theodora Lee from South Africa and Uche Pedro.
Pedro emerged as the winner of the category due to the popularity of her blog, BellaNaija, which she created in 2006.
The blog comprises of articles on life style tips, Daily News, General information, Fashion, weddings, Beauty and style.
She received the award and thanked her friends, family and and BellaNija team for the support.
