Founded in Ghana with an employee-base of predominantly disabled people, Eco shoes is the brain child of Mabel Suglo, a university undergraduate and social entrepreneur from Ghana.
Mabel offers an assortment of shoes and accessories that are fashionable and Afro-themed, using recycled materials. She aims to increase the economic participation of disabled persons through job opportunities, as she employs and trains them to create products that she sells into wholesale and retail markets.
