A prestigious media and PR firm in Abuja is seeking for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Digital Media Executive.

Job Description:

  • Assist in the formulation and deployment of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers leveraging key social media tools
  • Planning and monitoring the ongoing company, stakeholders and client’s presence on social media
  • Launching optimized online advertisements to increase company and brand awareness

Age Requirement: 25 – 32years

Core Requirement

  • Proven experience as digital media executive or social media manager, with digital marketing experience and analytics reporting
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Experience with B2C social media, Google Adwords, email campaigns and SEO/SEM
  • Perfect knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Skills and experience in creative content writing or development
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking
  • Solid knowledge of social media (blogs, especially Instagram and Snapchat etc.) conversant with social media tool trends
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; with the right tone and content tailored to each client or industry
  • A creative mind partnered with the ability to find the best practical solutions
  • A higher education degree
  • Must possess good computer skills
  • Ability to write articles or content for different industries mainly business and lifestyle is an advantage
  • Must be resident in Abuja
  • Must be focused, passionate, proactive and resourceful – able to work under pressure with little supervision to achieve outlined goals

General Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media
  • Launch optimized online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook etc. to increase company and brand awareness
  • Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.)
  • Ability to prepare online newsletters, promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and social media engagement
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)
  • Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
