Facebook is announcing its latest product, App Event Optimization, a new way to help businesses find their most valuable customers, drive more app installation and boost customer’s engagement while using their apps.
“Together, these solutions will allow app advertisers find the people who will take the actions they care about most, helping them to meet their business goals and drive quality people to their apps,” Jehan Damji, Product Manager at Facebook.
Studies have shown that close to 90 per cent of the time spent on mobile devices are spent on apps, and 58 per cent of mobile purchases are made through apps.
With these figures, it is increasingly important for businesses to connect with the people who download their apps and take valuable actions with them.
Other products being extended to advertisers looking to drive app installation and engagements are: Dynamic ads for mobile app ads and Canvas format for mobile app ads.
